A cooperation agreement with Rosmorport was signed concerning the design of federally owned projects that will serve as part of the Polycomplex cluster.
In accordance with the Cooperation Agreement signed June 7, 2012, Rosmorport will conduct the engineering survey and provide the project documentation for the construction of the federally owned 16.2-metre-deep access channel to be built at the entry of the Luga River.
The survey and project documentation are planned to be completed in the 3rd - 4th quarter of 2013. Polycomplex is financing this work.
The channel must be constructed in order to receive vessels with a maximum of up to 75,000 DWT. The channel will allow for the bilateral transportation of grain cargo to and from the modern Polycomplex food processing and logistics complex.
