Mikhail Ushakov
Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Mikhail is an entrepreneur with an impressive list of achievements. Over last 20 years he has held a Deputy CEO position with "ICT Group" - one of the largest groups of privately-owned investment and industrial companies in the Russian Federation. During his tenure with ICT-Group Mikhail contributed significantly to the company's unprecedented growth and success. He has extensive experience in strategic business development, strategic planning and program management. In course of his career Mikhail has been responsible for the creation and management of more than ten multi-billion dollar Greenfield projects, involving the construction and commissioning of various factories and plants across Russia. Two of his largest projects involved the construction and commissioning of smelting plants in Leningrad and Irkutsk regions (Tikhvin Ferroalloy Smelting Plant, Bratsk Ferroalloy Smelting Plant).
Mikhail has also held executive positions with "ICT-Group" sister companies: JSC "Polymetal" (the largest Russian gold and silver producer) and JSC "Baltiysky Zavod" (Shipbuilding Yard).
Mikhail has an Engineering degree from the Saint-Petersburg State University (formerly Leningrad State University).
