Plasma-arc modification of metal surfaces

On September 1, 2011, Petroplasma became a participant in the Skolkovo Innovation Center in the project for energy efficiency and conservation, including the development of innovative energy technologies.

As a participant in the project, Petroplasma is eligible for government funding for the development of a manual robotic cleaning tool which uses plasma surface modification technology.

The tool will be used in the manual cleaning of large metal structures such as bridges, ship hulls, tanks, offshore oil drilling platforms and others. This tool will be the only one with such capabilities and applications in the world.
